After a wake up call at 8 in the morning we got dressed and had breakfast in the convent. We left at around 9:30 and reach the OLPC office in Kigali where we stayed and discussed our lesson plans. We finalized lesson plans for our two classes, Tam Tam and Scratch. After documenting the lesson plans we hung out in the office and left for lunch at noon. The restaurant we went to was fifteen minutes walk from the office, and was actually a house owned by a local who provides catering services. After lunch, we walked back to the office. The team had a meeting with the OLCP officers stationed in Kigali and we discussed our plans. For Scratch, we assumed we were dealing with beginners, but from what they told us, the school children were familiar with Scratch.

After the meeting, we waited for a call from the Ministry. Since this would take too much time, and the team was suffering from the hardships of a day long travel, Kevin and Abhay stayed behind while the rest of the team went back for a refreshing break at the convent at 2:30.

Kevin and Abhay met with the ministry at 3:30.

At 5:00, the team left for the Union Trading Center and started blogging there.
